About Naming Mastery

I make naming quick, honest and a little fun

A name is a small thing, yet choosing one can eat an evening. I built Naming Mastery so you can try a lot of ideas in a few taps, keep the ones you like and get on with your day.

Why I built it

Names show up everywhere: a nickname for a friend, a handle for an app, a gamertag, a team, a brand, a baby. Most name tools I found dump a long pile of results and leave you to sort the good from the bad. I wanted results I would actually say out loud, sorted so the easiest ones come first.

I also wanted tools that respect your time. There's no sign-up, no pop-up wall, and nothing to install. You type, you tap, you copy. If the first batch isn't right, you press Generate again or Remix a result you like.

Three rules I build by

How a result gets made

  1. You typeA name, a keyword or nothing at all.
  2. I split itInto short pieces that sound natural.
  3. I mix itWith word lists and simple naming rules.
  4. I drop weak onesToo short, too long or hard to say.
  5. I label and sortEasiest to say comes first.
  6. You chooseCopy, save, remix or start again.

Help me make it better

I build a tool when a naming task comes up often and I can make the result useful in a few taps. If a result looks wrong, a name is missing or you want a new tool, tell me through the contact page. I fix confirmed mistakes, as I explain in my editorial policy.
